Weeters 1916
Flood Communications, a radio station group in Nebraska, is in the process of launching a TV station in the booming metropolis of Norfolk, NE. The station is branded as "News Channel Nebraska" and I believe they are using the calls KNEN-LD. The station promises to offer news, weather, and sports. In fact, some of the first things they broadcast were two live high school football games (simultaneously!). They also seem to be a WeatherNation affiliate. http://us92.com/local-news/norfolks-first-tv-station-on-the-air/ You can get a glimpse of their graphics and music (Locals Only) here: http://us92.com/newscast/september-2-newscast/ The premise is apparently going to be something like MI News 26 in Michigan. In fact, the guy who runs MI News 26 is working on signing the station on. They have a ustream channel with a bunch of random sports stuff on it, too. NewsMaster 226
Will this be an Network Affiliated station or a 24 Hour News Channel? It doesn't look as if it will have an affiliation. I was thinking WMFD when I first saw this. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/14627-news-channel-nebraska/#findComment-134477 Share on other sites
