New graphics to come for WJBF?

Judging by the updated weather graphics that appeared May 8th, I'm going to assume WJBF will debut new graphics sometime soon. They don't look fantastically impressive, but any update is better than the beaten-to-death late 2000's WFLA package they've been using. But then this is WJBF we're talking about, chances are the weather graphics are the only graphics getting an update.

If that is the case, it looks like Nexstar is largely keeping the current LIN-MG package with minor changes.

 

I wonder if it will extend to pre-MG Nexstar stations?

Don't be surprised if WJBF soon becomes "Local 6". If WJBF plans to rebrand soon, expect it to be branded as Local 6.

Nevermind. After two weeks now, it appears they've only updated the weather graphics, but not the news graphics, and as a result have two packages in use that don't match at all.
