They started doing their newscasts - and sister station WDCW's 10pm news as well - in the newsroom (post below) since the weekend. They'd basically moved that desk from the studio to the newsroom (its newsroom is adjacent to the studio). Just hope they don't get that same set like its sister stations (WTKR, WTTV, KTVI). I follow Nikki-Dee Ray on Snapchat and she did her Snapchat forecast from the new studio, everything looked complete and the weather center was operational. I would say they'll probably debut it by the end of the week, based on what I've seen. It reminds me some of what WGN did. If you wanna see it in the DCW50 makeup, they finally got around to archiving their newscasts on their website.
