CBS Morning News with Hughes Rudd. Because back in those days CBS suits thought that the women that watched morning news wanted to wake-up with Grandpa.... Of course Grandpa needed a blonde.... Here is some early color moving pictures courtesy of Vintage Television on youtube. Is this an Aquarium or Fishbowl set? A giant picture tube window set? Or the "Andromeda Strain" set... Rock that Fro! Those funny black things spewing out paper in the foreground are "wire machines"...because they used wires. While the other news shows were sponsored by Timex or Camel...
