You obviously have never worked in TV. It may look awkward to some, but it's an artistic ploy. He's talking about pool or pool cues, so why not focus on them?

 

Dang, you beat me to it. I don't think they should have CG'ed him at that point in the story, though...but that's not the photog's fault, it's the director's.

No, he's talking about how MnDOT pulled 50 million dollars in funding to raise a highway, not about pool!

On WJAR-10, a newsreader was beginning a story about the Station nightclub fire when the WLNE-6 news on ABC faded up for a split second on the plasma screen.
