A3N 1002 Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 The shocking part of it is that they are going HD, KVEA-TV will be the first full-powered spanish television station in the United States to broadcast news in high definition. Here is the article from Telemundo 52...(note, the article is in spanish) http://www.telemundo52.com/noticias/14091913/detail.html
NewsRadioFan07 0 Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Quires que lo ahem NM i wont translate as i dont have the time sorry
Amra 171 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Hmm, would they keep the O&O graphics? They would look even better in HD. T52 meant the first High Power hispanic station.
Que 73 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Hmm, would they keep the O&O graphics? They would look even better in HD. T52 meant the first High Power hispanic station. It looks like they are using the updated WNBC version (but of course for Telemundo)...

Alain 17 Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 I prefer them using some non-O&O graphics. Something unique for once..
Amra 171 Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 So, has any of our LA followers have a screenshot or video of Telemundo 52 HD?
Alain 17 Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 So, has any of our LA followers have a screenshot or video of Telemundo 52 HD? Very few care about the spanish media on this board...
News4LA 0 Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Plus the only way to recieve digital channel 52.1 is with an atenna. The HD channel is not on Time Warner Cable. But pretty much, they are doing what KTLA5-CW is doing. Just the studio (no new set) cameras are in HD. But everything else is shot in SD with the blue pillar bars or curtains on the side. Graphics and weather map are 16:9 Digital CH 52.1 signal is too weak to capture via computer, so I just took a pics of my TV with a digital camera. Thats why the pics look crappy. >
mbhcity 3 Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 A fairly big day for latino's on LA TV. Carlos at FOX, with T52 in HD.
