WABC's Andy Field

I know he used the be the Washington DC reporter for WABC and other O&O ABC stations. He then left DC and started to report from the NYC area. He was gone for awhile but know I notice he's back reporting on stories from the NYC area. I was wonder if he is just a part time reporter or if he's now full time with WABC?

He does this every year - WABC runs light around the holidays - lots of vacations amongst on-camera staff, so he freelances for channel 7 the last two weeks of December.
