StormTrack8000 0 Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Everyone seemed to be so surprised that KWQC finally dropped Hello News, after using that package for 17 years. On July 31st, KWQC switched over to U-Phonix, and after less than 2 months, they are back to Hello News : Figures they'd do that. They probably wanted to stick to that familiar sound, because now they don't have that familiar opener every newscast. Ah well.

OKCEyewitnessNews5 0 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Hopefully they decided to use the updates like Maine's NBC stations.
MYosua 1 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Hopefully they decided to use the updates like Maine's NBC stations. WCSH & WLBZ use Good News, not Hello.
MikePulse 318 Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Hopefully they decided to use the updates like Maine's NBC stations. WCSH & WLBZ use Good News, not Hello. And no, they're using the old cuts. But the high-energy close (w/ the Great News sig) is now the official open.
