LosAngeles7 0 Posted September 30, 2007 Share Posted September 30, 2007 The Sunday 6:30 program "Special Assignment," which I personally liked to watch and was a good lead-in to 60 Minutes, was dropped when Paul Magers came aboard in favor of the much broader topic Studio 2 (which I believe has since been shelved). Special Assignments stopped airing on the regular newscasts not long after that, though I do not recall exactly when. Joel Grover and his producers are some of the most dogged investigative reporters in this market, which has never placed a premium on investigative reports.
