I did not know where to put this on the forum. It is a broadcasting-related thing but has nothing to do with TV news... its Music Choice. Available on major cable providers such as Comcast, Charter (soon-to-be Cox), and others, its still one of the most popular digital audio services on cable TV today, though in the past few years, it has gained major competition from Stingray (which is available in more places on some of their channels, such as Samsung TV Plus and Plex, for example. At one point, this used to be CBC Canada's Galaxie. That's wild to think about).

Coming August 26th, a HUGE exodus of changes will be taking place on their lineup. It will remain a 50-channel lineup on cable TV, but the TL;DR version is this...

  • Ten channels (including Hit List) will be renamed.
  • Ten NEW channels will be added.
  • Ten current channels will be removed from cable TV and are moving exclusively to their streaming TV/mobile apps (I have it and only pay $1 a month for it which gives me access to 80 extra channels).
