tvweatherman 0 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Hey- If you guys have graphics of weather forecasts, post them. It would be neat to see the different ones.
Ntropolis 599 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Some from WTKR and WAVY (WAVY Weather Station) and some I've DXed...
West Texas 0 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Extended Forecasts: KDBC: http://bimedia.ftp.clickability.com/kdbcwebftp/kdbc_5day_web.jpg[/img] KVIA: http://kvia.images.worldnow.com/images/incoming/wx/7day.jpg[/img] KTSM: http://images.bimedia.net/images/pm7day21_thumb.jpg[/img] KFOX: (sorry for the crap quality) http://www.geocities.com/smartguy1306/KFOX_5_Day_Forecast.JPG[/img]
Ntropolis 599 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Extended Forecasts: KVIA: KTSM: Ha... WAVY's using those pictures of Santa for their 7-day.
West Texas 0 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Extended Forecasts: KVIA: KTSM: Ha... WAVY's using those pictures of Santa for their 7-day. Yep. Is WAVY's weather graphics system from Weather Central too? Where their hands are like the mouse on the computer?

Yeah, the meteo can put his hand on the chromakey and it puts the Santa pic up there, so it must be a system from Weather Central.
West Texas 0 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Where can you get those logos. Sorry, but what "logos" are you talking about? ???
FirstNews8 13 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Like the thunderstorm symbol, sunshine, clouds, all of those that you can post blank maybe?
West Texas 0 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Like the thunderstorm symbol, sunshine, clouds, all of those that you can post blank maybe? Well the posts above are screen grabs and from the station's web site as a "still" so it'll be hard to "get them" unfortunately... These are not the icons you are looking for, but here's a web site I've bookmarked as my favorites of Weather Icons from various web sites: http://www.jdawiseman.com/papers/trivia/weather-icons.html I especially like the animated ones from "Meteo Consult" 8) Hope this helps...

West Texas 0 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Wow. I guess that santa is a popular graphic display for the weathercasts.
tvweatherman 0 Posted December 22, 2006 Author Posted December 22, 2006 I guess it is popular, because KPLR in St. Louis is using it too.
FirstNews8 13 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Does anyone know how to cut out a picture so part of it is 'seethrough', like a logo with white back behind it, and you dont want the whit, just the logo.
NashvilleTV5 0 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 This is on rare occassion I can do this. I don't have a capture card nor at TV in my room...this was all capture from a video on WTVFs website. The webmaster must've forgotten to edit the video or stop it but it ran through a weather forecast and commercial. Again, this what WTVFs weather forecasts look like. Not all that they display on the forecasts were captured due to it being a breif forecast that this was captured from. Here is what I have of that weather forecast.
