btbrtq3 0
KNBC recently started airing a few different 'We're 4 LA' Videos showing some of their anchors, but mostly showing sight and people of Southern California. On KNBC.com, they call it 'NBC4's Musical Tribute To SoCal'. They published the video on their website: http://www.canal22.tv/KNBC/news/news.html PS: Remind you of anything WNBC is doing/did? mbhcity 3
SoCal is sooooo cool! ;D Surf's up dude! lol Decent promos, but when it comes to New York! Mayor Rudy Giuliani said it best on the Letterman show "We can kick your city's Ass!" Man, I gotta get there, Always wanted to go on the Kramer tour and eat at Nathan's and cap off the day with trip to the Garden, Babe's House, and Shea! Some of LA is great, preferably the beaches on the South Bay, Long Beach, Downtown, but traffic is the worst! News4LA 0
I like the promo. By the way I emailed knbc this week. Wondering what happened to The Channel 4 News going HD by the end of THIS year? I got this response. As for high definition, it's coming next year. NBC decided to spend its money in other ways and is just getting around to HD. I think you will appreciate how we handle the new aspect ratio. So I wonder who will be next going HD NBC4 or FOX11. Hope everyone will have a Happy Holiday. ;D Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/2726-knbc-is-airing-new-were-4-la-videos/#findComment-24470 Share on other sites

btbrtq3 0
I hope KNBC goes HD next, I'm fed up of waiting! By the way, what new aspect ratio? They have been 4:3 (I think) since March!!! If they go 16:9, I will be happy. They just need new opens and maybe a new set, because they've had them for ages (ages being since around 2001 or so). Them not being in 16:9/HD probably hurts them in the ratings... Also, their other local show called YourLA aired the 'full' version of the We're 4 LA Videos, here: http://www.yourlatv.com/homepage/were-4-la.html I just hope they go HD soon. REALLY soon! According to Jeff McNeal's (Their announcer) website, he'll be their announcer until 2013.
