superbad 1
Any word on leading candidates for either spots? I imagine the managers these nd's left behind will also be replaced. Especially at 4. But it is very exciting to see two openings at once. Will be great to re-energize the market. Amra 171
For those of us outside the US, what exactly does a News Director do? They oversee the News Department of their station. mediadorkx07 0
The Assistant News Director is the one who is the head of day-to-day coverage. Â The ND has more paperwork. Amra 171
So instead of blaming for example Nancy Bauer Gonzales for the fall of KCBS 11PM news to 4th place, we can blame Jim Hattendorf because as Assisstant News Director he is the head of day to day coverage? mediadorkx07 0
Of course the ND has ultimate say, but generally, at least where I work, the A.N.D. implements the ND's vision with day-to-day coverage.
