I don't recall ever hearing ABC 7 misuse their music cuts before. As I've been watching this newscast this weekend, they've been using the daytime bumper throughout the weekend on both Saturday Night newscasts & earlier tonight at 5:30pm. This is not the first time they've done this. I remember back when Rob Johnson was still on Channel 7, back in early 2006, they'd played the same cue for the teaser and bumper on a Saturday 5pm Newscast. It might be someone who work at the controls that work on the earlier weekday newscast that working the shift while the regular person may be off.
