It seems weird that they would use the old graphics with the 5pm show having the new O&O look. Interesting varient on the O&O graphics, the L3's actually stretch across the entire screen (for the HD probably), and they have a bit more yellow in them. Also, behold: A BUG?!?!?! Well, at least the fancier 29 looks nice! Interesting note, the 29 inside the bug, actually tilts around, doesn't "collapse" like WTVT, but still, nice!

Too much going on with the bug! the 29 is geting the "hollywood" light treatment, the top and bottom spins. I don't mind the bottom spinning, but the top needs to stay still. As far as other graphics go, it'll take some getting used to, but tough to judge with the Bus Stop Buddy and the school closing bar going. Better look at 11am, then the new set @ 5pm.

It's an appealing look for the time of day and it's a set like none other! The new set was showcased on Good Day this morning. It is layed out with plasmas, monitors behind fog glass and a seperate 5p and 10p area and a weather center. The 5p area is opened up and the 10p desk looked huge. The floor is shiny black. I can't wait to see how they use the sets. Kerri Lee says the 5pm and the 10pm newscasts will look different from one another.

But still, they win like Zangief, those are the best graphics ever made! Big improvement on the O&O graphics, and I assume WJW will get this same version? Fox O&O Graphics HD= :D :D/ :D :D I doubt it. It seems that each station has been implementing its own version of the look so we shall see.
