What's the scariest special report theme you heard? Me it would be these two CBS News 1984 Special Report http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58hmsB2EL8E CBS News Special Report 2005 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_Z3NPhGqeA Both have an end of the world cataclysmic feeling to them especially the 1984 one which was broadcasted during the end of the Cold War. Mario500 3 Posted June 29, 2008 Share Posted June 29, 2008 I have actually enjoyed NBC's current "Special Report" music (part four of "The Mission" theme music package and the "Meet the Preess" theme) and CBS' previous theme. You may be surprised to hear these pieces of music after your favorite TV program was interrupted, but you learn to enjoy them if you don't think about them too much. ABC's current one is too boring. It also needs a diffrent announcer. May I suggest Bill Rice, ABC's longtime announcer?
