alaskanews 108 Posted August 14, 2008 Share Posted August 14, 2008 This is something on WWL's Youtube page that I came across that WWL made as a sort of a moral booster after Hurricane Kattrina. I was talking with Mike Ross (then at WWL, seen in the video at 1:46) and he said that entire crew, the Storm Veterans as they call themselves, are bonded like family now even though most have left the station. The video is pretty emotional, gave me chills. I told Mike that part of me would love to be part of coverage like that, but the other part hopes to never have to.
