cjm5150 0 Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 On Good day LA Rick Dickert mentioned that Sky Fox has an HD camera but they are not broadcasting with it yet. Steve Edwards replied "because we want to get it exactly right". Any thoughts?
rtmclaug 70 Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 It's good that they're trying to get all the bugs worked out of the system before they start broadcasting with it. Better that than try it and have problems with it. This is the first step in FOX 11 going HD. I thought they would go HD when they got the new graphics. Hopefully, we'll get to see some pictures when the camera is finally put to use.

KNBC is troubled. Plus the packages and live reports are still done in 480p SD only with the KNBC HD bars beside the shot.
ABC7 Los Angeles 1 Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Um, Skyfox has had an HD camera on it since around June 2006. I don't know why they are mentioning it now. I'll talk to Skyfox's pilot to find out what's up.
