TellyGenic 33
John Roland was all over the airwaves this weekend, as the "paid spokesperson" for Wilens & Baker. It's another of those law firms that advertise 'we can get you money' but it was great to see him looking well and appearing fit. Only made me realize how much I miss him on Fox, and how far downhill that newscast has gone since he left. Why did he leave Fox again, exactly? Jess 1115
Roland retired from the station in 2004. I think the parting was on good terms; his last day was filled with goodbye messages from famous New Yorkers and station personnel. (That last day was weird, because while he was on-set he never actually anchored.) Either him or the station were easing him out, because by 04 he was only on the 5pm news.
