alaskanews 122 Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 What is Newswatch 15? Nevermind, I watched the video, now I get it.
bixpchiphead 105 Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 NewsWatch 15 is a channel on the Cox Cable systems in and around New Orleans that is programmed by WWL-TV. It basically replays Eyewitness News broadcasts around the clock.
Oliverolang 41 Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Very nice graphics, my only gripe is that the L3 font is too big. But overall, a HUGE improvement!
abric 181 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Very impressive! The best in Louisiana. It was worth the wait.
PelicanGuy 117 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I think they look fabulous. My only gripe is that they're still have the old set and are using the old mic flags. It kind of takes away from the presentation. However, I did see this Saturday evening on Canal Street.
Weeters 1969 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I'll miss the pastel colors and Onyx on the weather graphics.
kjohnson 17 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 These look nice, but I'd just bet they'd look better in HD. When does 4 plan to to go to HD?
cacLA8383 1 Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 At the rate they're going, they'll become the last station to go HD (after WDSU).
KRGV5 0 Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 so is it 4WWL or Newswatch 15? I don't get why there's a logo and watermark???
Oliverolang 41 Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Newswatch 15 is a cable channel that reruns the most recent broadcast of Eyewitness News. They also air WWL's live newscast simultaneously on the channel as well.
johnnya2k6 171 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 These look nice, but I'd just bet they'd look better in HD. When does 4 plan to to go to HD? Probably after they finally move to their new studios (which I think is still under construction).
