CDubya87 0
Well, I don't know if it's a "mandate". Reading this and the release on FirstCom's site - it looks like they're merely providing production music to Nexstar stations, not actual news packages. For years, Nexstar stations have used their own production library sources, for example, my station here uses Killer Tracks/NJJ Music. I think Nexstar's just looking to make a "Green" statement and to provide a more unified library choice across their stations. This doesn't look to be a mandate for a company wide package - at least, not right now - since about 99% of Nexstar stations use Stephen Arnold for their news packages. scranton 23
Certainly not the writing on the wall of a corporate mandate. Sounds like Nexstar just bought a lot of production music.
