newswatch 1
There are promos back then where they mentioned the slogans of Network Campaigns. WXIA Atlanta - Hello Atlanta campaign - at the end, they mentioned Let's All Be There from NBC's 1984-1986 campaigns. WSMV Nashville - a Local Version of NBC 1983 Campaign Be There where they incorporated Frank Gari's Hello Nashville throughout the song. WEWS Cleveland - Good News from Frank Gari - They said Come On Along from ABC's 1982 campaign. EricNewsHD 0
WZVN ABC 7 in Fort Myers currently does that. The ABC Network slogan is "start here" so ABC 7 began doing program advertisements with "ABC 7, Start Here." eyewitness_news 5
In the 80s, WBAL launched a "Hello Baltimore" campaign, paying homage to Frank Gari's Hello News music package. The lyrics include the line, "Hello, Baltimore, Reach for the Stars." They were once a CBS affiliate from 1981 to 1995. johnnya2k6 171
KTUU in Anchorage probably did their own versions of NBC's campaigns in the '80s, since they were the only full-time NBC affiliate in Alaska. Even during the tough times of the late '70s, they may have also done some "KENI-2 Us" promos (they were KENI-TV until 1981) to match with "NBSee Us." The only way to confirm those is to check KTUU's archives.
