What You See on ABC This Fall, You'll Be Talking About it Tomorrow!
WXmanTim 88 Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 To me that sounds more like a station ID bumper than a news open. The hum that follows sounds like a prelude to the actual theme news open. The voice-over makes no mention of "news" only the positioning statement for KATV "Your community-minded station" Makes more sense as a station ID bumper using the melody to the ABC promo campaign from the era leading into the main theme for Channel 7 News.
