DFW's Megan Henderson has left the DFW for LA. She says she wants to be close to her family. No information has been released about her future career plans. Does anyone in LA know if she is getting an anchor job?

KDFW is the second station, in the DFW area, to loose a morning Anchor. WFAA lost Brad Hawkins (who went to go work for Southwest Airlines). It is a shame to see Megan go, she was the best female morning personality in the area.

Shes going to KTLA for their morning show. No idea what role she'll play though.

They all usually go there...I doubt the other stations are willing to hire new staff, considering how well entrenched they are. KTLA needs new people and they have brought in quite a few, such as Markina Brown, Ginger Chan and numerous others, let's hope she stays there long.

My guess is that Megan will replace Cher Calvin. It mentions that Megan will be a morning anchor/reporter and the only way to do that is if she works KTLA's early edition newscasts and then reports for the 7-9am hour. A sure sign of change, is that Cher has been doing a lot more field reports than usual and she was bumped off the 9am show.

Check out this video. KTLA's Cher Calvin visits her old station in the Philippines and announces that she will be doing the Saturday and Sunday editions of KTLA news at 6:30/10PM, in addition to reporting Monday-Wednesday. Check the :55 second mark.

KTLA doesn't have a 6:30 PM news on the weekends. Would be a waste if they did since KNBC does a full hour on Saturday & Sunday from 6-7 PM and KCBS does a full hour on Sunday from 6-7 PM.
