qunewsguy 377
Are they reallly crunching the HD graphics to fit in an SD frame? That bug looks awfully squished! Weeters 1916
Are they reallly crunching the HD graphics to fit in an SD frame? That bug looks awfully squished! Those aren't the HD graphics... Also, the time/temp bug should be put on a single line. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/5235-wjhg-new-gfx-premiere/#findComment-49017 Share on other sites

ProButtonPusher 230
the gfx dont look as squashed on air...it has something to do with the HD compression/up conversion that give it the illusion they're crunched...this is the work of Tristan Bresnen, and I did all the audio portions and rendering for the on air look...our CSD did most of the hard work, he got all the templates made. I was just his assistant. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/5235-wjhg-new-gfx-premiere/#findComment-49021 Share on other sites

Hometown News 54
They would have looked better if the graphics department didn't decide to use Arial. Seriously, why? socalnewsguy 11
There's nothing wrong with Helvetica Neue. You just need the right style of it to make things look good. Hometown News 54
Hmmm... maybe the compression is making the font look different. Never mind. I think the sub-headline and the time/temp bug are both totally unreadable, though.
