Sign up for the resume tape critique in advance, they bitched at me every year because I walked in without an appointment. You'll be interested in the career fair, along with everyone and their brother, bring your A game. Bring a big fat stack of resumes, but don't worry about bringing a big fat stack of tapes. (Or maybe not. I'm showing my age here; I suppose it's easier for an ND to bring back a bunch of DVDs than a huge box of VHSs.) Love the job board -- that's where I got a few leads, including my first job! Play with the toys on the exhibit floor, make a bunch of new friends, and have fun! Good luck! Being in school didn't stop me from going to NAB08... it's called a personal day. Take some time off and just do it. School's still going to be there when you get back.
