CalItalian2 163 Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 While every other cable and local station, sans KCOP, covers the rumors and then confirmation of Michael Jackson's death, KNBC is the LONE news organization in Los Angeles not to dump regular programming. Are they a news station in this entertainment town?
Weeters 1969 Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Props to them. It's on just about every other channel everywhere anyways.

kjohnson 17 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I agree. I started watching PBS to get some downtime away from the coverage. Then all of the local stations (unsurprisingly) led with that story. Sometimes it was hard to tell that Farrah Fawcett died the same day, the continuing violence in Iran, and North Korea threatening the US were stories.
