I was very surprised to see her Friday night filling in for Audrey Puente on MY9 NEWS.

 

I am glad to see she is working. She is much better than Raphael over at WNBC, but I guess even he comes cheaper than a free lancing Sally Ann.

Well, yeah. When she freelanced in Philly recently it was the same old, same old. Forgot to put the maps in. Stuttered through most of it. And fell back into her mode of "Enough about me, let's talk about me." Once she got down to mentioning "milk duds," she pretty much lost everyone. After all these yrs, there's just no "there" there.

Sadly the guy Sally replaced, Joe Moreno, won't be back. Anyone know if he's weathercasting anywhere now?

I was just wondering a few weeks ago what ever happened to Joe Moreno. I know he injured his back sometime around October 2005, but I haven't seen him since. He was a great weathercaster and I wouldn't mind seeing him back on TV in NY.

I think Joe, like Roz Abrams, collected a fat settlement and is sitting out the rest of his contract. Multiple internet searches have brought up no news since 2006....
