mre29 1589 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 The new Broadcast Interactive Media-powered sites have started going live. Not all of them are live yet -- BIM's Recent Projects page is a good indicator of what's live -- but the ones that are up look pretty good. Here's what's up right now (late Tuesday night): WWL - http://www.wwltv.com/ KVUE - http://www.kvue.com/ WHAS - http://www.whas11.com/ KTVB - http://www.ktvb.com/ KING - http://www.king5.com/ KREM - http://www.krem.com/ Northwest Cable News - http://www.nwcn.com/ KMSB - http://www.fox11az.com/ KTVK - http://www.azfamily.com/
kjohnson 17 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Can't wait for KMOV's to go live. The current template is seemingly constrictive to the demands of the new "multimedia newsroom"
Ntropolis 600 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 So this explains why WVEC still has the old logo up on much of their website...
Al-SA-TX 54 Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 add KENS 5 to the list, they've too updated their website: http://www.kens5.com/
mre29 1589 Posted November 5, 2009 Author Posted November 5, 2009 add KENS 5 to the list, they've too updated their website: http://www.kens5.com/ So has KHOU. [i don't really see the need to update my original post whenever there's something to add to the list.]
gameshowguy2000 1 Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 So does this mean WFAA (Belo's flagship) is next?
tvweatherman 0 Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Can't wait for KMOV's to go live. The current template is seemingly constrictive to the demands of the new "multimedia newsroom" KMOV's new website is coming November 12th..
kjohnson 17 Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 KMOV's new website is coming November 12th.. Good to hear. I like the new look.
mre29 1589 Posted November 11, 2009 Author Posted November 11, 2009 Add wvec.com to the list. It's now up. And WCNC.
mre29 1589 Posted November 12, 2009 Author Posted November 12, 2009 KMOV's website looks pretty good!! Oooo... I love the site's logo, too! Looks like KGW's new site is also up. This pretty much leaves WFAA's site as the last to switch over. Wasn't it the last one to switch last time as well?
kjohnson 17 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 My first impressions of the new KMOV.com are good. Much improved over the old Belo template.
tvweatherman 0 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 My first impressions of the new KMOV.com are good. Much improved over the old Belo template. I agree... I thought their website look was much better before the last one.. Which what I find funny about that is, they won an award for it, and then changed it to the last one, right after winning the award..
ihEARDtHAT 8 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Many Belo sites had problems with hackers and bots invading their "forums" section. In Phoenix, they had to turn on restrictions that would allow you to post once every five minutes, plus you needed to login with every visit to the forum. With the new websites in place, I noticed that many do not have a forum/discussion area like the old format.
