DMA 135
On 12/7, "The Newshour with Jim Leher will be rebranded to "PBS Newshour". It will switch back to a dual-anchored format, with editorial changes to broaden the scope of the newscast. Hari Sreenivasan of CBS News is joining the "PBS Newshour" as a reporter. I've read that there will be new graphics, and I assume some set modifications would be in store. I think it's a good change, the format of the newscast is very stuffy, and hopefully things will improve. It's currently the best national newscast, and I think these changes are a much needed update. DMA 135
The new website launched today...it's so much better than the previous one, which hadn't been updated in a good 5 or 6 years. http://www.pbs.org/newshour/ There's a video with Hari Sreenivasan,, including the new L3s and open...very European and simple, but it works.
