I think he (or she) meant the first generation ticker from the relaunch of HeadlineNews circa 2000/2001.

 

It's been gone for at least 3 or 4 years.

Wait a minute. I'm watching HLN now. No ticker on the primetime shows.

I thought the ticker you guys were talking about was their SportsTicker that was used 24 hours on the weekend and starting at 5PM weekdays (once 9AM hit, it switched to a stock ticker).

 

I'm glad not watching HLN anymore (or HN, however you want to call it); the switch in formats in 2001 was disgusting.
