5Viewer 1 Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 http://chicagoradioandmedia.com/news/787-the-many-changes-at-wfld-tv-so-far Dave Novarro: The morning news anchor is leaving WFLD to join sister-station WNYW-TV in New York as morning news anchor.
Jase 1065 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 This move never happen according to Feder. More lies and misdirection from good ole' FLD. Shame they can't be honest. "When Channel 32 parted company last July with news anchor David Novarro, Fox Chicago bosses were quick to tell the media that he was headed for a morning anchor and reporting job at Fox-owned WNYW-TV in New York. Now we know — thanks to the New York Daily News — that never happened." --Robert Feder http://blogs.vocalo.org/feder/2010/09/chicago-tv-wives-climbing-to-spectacular-heights/37298
Jess 1116 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 This is typical of their GM. At Philly, he fired the sports anchor - mere days after he returned from accident leave.
lazynetjunkie 34 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 This is typical of their GM. At Philly, he fired the sports anchor - mere days after he returned from accident leave. Well, here in Chicago, he hasn't really been the one choosing who to fire..
Jess 1116 Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Well, here in Chicago, he hasn't really been the one choosing who to fire.. True, but the same kind of abrupt dismissals were happening at 29 when he was there. Then again, they're happening after his departure.
Jase 1065 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 From today's Chicago Tribune- David Novarro returns to WABC "David Novarro cut loose this summer after a decade at Fox-owned WFLD-Ch. 32 and briefly appeared headed to its sister station in New York (WNYW), instead wound up returning to ABC New York flagship WABC".
