"-- Phil Rosenthal http://newsblogs.chicagotribune.com/towerticker/2010/09/wfld-makes-canellis-lead-sportscaster-urlacher-joins-final-word.html "Jeff Goldblatt, 41, is expected to sign on this week as a part-time reporter at NBC-owned WMAQ-Channel 5." --Robert Feder http://blogs.vocalo.org/feder/2010/09/nbc-5-taps-jeff-goldblatt’s-‘knowledge-and-experience’/36257 No big surprised by Canellis getting the 9PM job. Dan Jiggetts could get the Friday-Saturday (weekend) spot on a per diem basis. Goldblatt is a good reporter and would be an asset to WMAQ. While he isn't the greatest anchor ever, WMAQ's anchor bench is pretty weak and he can only help in that area.
