essentials 0 Posted October 5, 2010 Share Posted October 5, 2010 After 2 months of failed ratings its time to think about plan b. I think the biggest problem is the group looks miscast. Not a big fan of Cannelis at 9. Corey never should have been moved. Even The Final Word is suffering without him. Davlantes is not morning show material. She is a hard news reporter. Chambers is hard to understand and is a screen hog. Dawn is just boring. I can not imagine the suits in NY are too happy. I wonder who's call it was to make these changes. Usually after 14 weeks in tv land if something isn't working a change needs to be made. You have to feel for the sales people , who have to sell this. Nothing is likely going to happen until after November (sweeps) at the earliest. The 1st of the new year would be a more ideal time. Canellis isn't lead sports anchor material. Both he and they know he was the safe choice. I agree that Dawn is boring and offers nothing to any newscast she is on. I don't know why they hired her in the first place.
