It definitely sounds like something they'd do nowadays. I just read about what happened to WPIX...wow, I'm completely speechless. Talk about appealing to the lowest common denominator. Luckily my CW station just pools resources from the local Fox station so hopefully I won't have to be subjected to something similar here. I just pray to God this doesn't spread to the other Tribune stations.
