A TVNT Year In Review!

Recommended Posts

The TVNewsTalk Office of Statistics Collection and Management has recently released their report on traffic statistics for TVNT in 2010! Exactly one year ago today the Office of Statistics Collection and Management set out to collect visitor data in an effort to see who was viewing TVNT and how we could better serve them!

From January 11th, 2010 to January 11th, 2011 TVNewsTalk served up 1,526,091 pageviews to 107,277 unique visitors. The most active days were September 1st, when several CBS O&O's rolled out the new CBS O&O graphics, October 11th when WPIX adopted their new format, and the most active day was January 3rd, 2011. We're not quite sure why that is, but there was a number of people searching about WABC sports anchor Scott Clark's retirement.

In the past month alone, traffic has increased 25%. Typically, the most traffic comes early in the week and falls significantly during the weekends.

Roughly 36% of visitors used Internet Explorer to access the site, and 32% used Firefox. The ISP responsible for the majority of TVNT's traffic was Comcast.

Altogether, through 2010 our traffic nearly doubled what it was at the beginning of the year. And if the last two months are any indication, we'll have even better numbers to report next year! We also have a number of exciting new things planned for this year, so be sure to keep an eye out for those!

Thank you for helping TVNT become what it is today! We couldn't have done it without you, our loyal members and visitors.
