His last day at the station was January 7: WNBC ADDS CHRIS GLORIOSO; TIM MINTON MAY BE ON THE WAY OUT Over the last couple of years several high-profile reporters and anchors have not been retained by WNBC. Recently, they did add to their staff. Former WPIX reporter Chris Glorioso has joined WNBC. You may have seen Glorioso on Channel 4 during morning newscasts last weekend. Meantime, a tipster tells FishbowlNY that Tim Minton (right) is rumored to be leaving the station. Minton, the veteran investigative reporter, has been with his WNBC since 1998. He is an 18-time Emmy Award winner. FishbowlNY contacted WNBC this morning, but calls were not returned. Minton’s bio remains on the station’s website. Our sister site TVSpy has learned that Glenn Zimmerman has left WNBC after his contract was not renewed by the end of the year. Zimmerman, who frequently reported for Today in New York, had been with Channel 4 for three years. Now, Zimmerman remains committed to a start-up independent production company that he founded two years ago.
