KVOA is preempting an upcoming Law and Order: LA episode because of similarities to the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords.

For KVOA, and considering the set of circumstances behind the episode which were eerily similar to that of a tragedy in their community, this was the right decision for them to make. They are not fully saying they won't air it, but just a pre-emption. I would hope that they show like a recap or talk about Tucson after the tragedy and to help the healing process.
