Rick Williams is off so they've had her on yesterday and today. She's doing a great job like she's always done. It's great to see her on the anchor desk once again. They made a mention yesterday of it being her first day back anchoring.

Do you think Lisa Thomas-Laury could anchor the 11 p.m. newscast solo? No disrespect to Rob Jennings, who looked good tonight filling in for Jim.

It would be a fill-in duty, but how do you think she'd do? Would she appeal to the

11 p.m. viewers or is her audience more at 5 p.m.?

LTL is loved in the Philly market, and would do fine anchoring the 11 solo. Rob is just the typical backup anchor at 6&11. 6abc's modus operandi is that if it ain't broke don't fix it... lots of consistency and consistent #1 in the ratings.

She did her usual excellent job on Thursday's 5 ...

If she can do it physically, Six must find a way to get her back in the line up.

She looks as good as Jimbo himself or Ukee Washington.

With audience eroding, even Six needs every heavy hitter in its lineup as often as is reasonable.

Rumor: Lisa still not 100% physically ... full-time might be just too grueling ...

It's great to see her doing anything, she looks great when she's there.

Rumor: Monica should review and pay attention to her TV career and her role as a high-profile anchorwoman.

The tabloid antics are hurting Monica's image (like the engagement ring debacle)... I don't think her position is in jeopardy though, but then again, I never would have thought that the news at noon assignment would have gone to Sarah Bloomquist over Malpass.
