jbjimbo 0 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Can anyone do a comparsion of salaries (ie: anchor on network, anchor on cable, anchor in larage market, anchor in small market, etc.)? Thanks....
tvpirate05 1 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 It's six years old, but I use this site... http://www.rtnda.org/research/salaries02.shtml as my point of reference. Just adjust for inflation. (http://www.westegg.com/inflation)
Ntropolis 598 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 In 2002, WTKR's Barbara Ciara was making $200,000/year. (source)
abc7 Man 51 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Isn't Ernie Enastos of WNYW in NYC getting paid like $2 Million a year...
NYnewsFan 0 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 It was reported that Ernie Anastos signed a 5 year $10 million contract with Fox 5. Then that figure was shot down by some as a little high. I do think Chuck Scarborough is the highest paid anchor in the city and makes more than $1.5 million a year.
WAVY 10 Fan 233 Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 When she was at WAVY in the '80s, Diana Morgan was making a six-figure salary. This was interesting to find both because of the fact Hampton Roads is a mid-size/small market and that WAVY in particular has a habit of being...cheap.
