Not necessarily a "Top Ten" (although the following should be in one), and in no particular order...

Chuck Scarborough and Sue Simmons on WNBC

Jim Gardner, Cecily Tynan/Dave Roberts, and Gary Papa on WPVI

Bob Hite and Gayle Sierens on WFLA

Patrice Wood and the late Doug White on WJAR

Not to be confused with "GQ" (my dad's nickname for the WVEC weatherman).

WAVY News 10 (probably Hampton Roads' most experienced team):

1. Les Smith

2. Alveta Ewell

3. Don Slater

4. Bruce Rader

Can't beat that (at least not in a mid-sized market).

Watching from Oklahoma City, I can only give you two:

1. Tyler Suiters, Jessica Schambach, Maggie Carlo - KOCO (ABC)

http://www.koco.com

2. Kelly Ogle, Amy McRee - KWTV (CBS)

http://www.newsOK.com

The first team is my favorite, and they won the 5 and 6pm ratings in November.

The second team always wins the 10pm ratings.

Good, yes, (the best team in Austin in my opinion) but this is the third time they've been paired. They anchored the 5:00 broadcast together at KVUE before he left to start KNVA in the mid 90s, then again as primary anchors when he returned to KVUE several years later.

Dana Tyler & Jim Rosenfield - WCBS - April 2006 - June 2007

Chuck Scarborough & Sue Simmons - WNBC 1980's - present

Bill Beutel & Diana Williams - WABC - 1990's - 2003

Bill Ritter & Liz Cho - WABC - 2003 - present

Dana Tyler & Ernie Anastos - WCBS - 2000 - 2004

Roger Grimsby & Bill Beutel - WABC

Jim Gardner - WPVI - 1976 - present

Cindy Hsu & Michael Pomeranz - WCBS - 2003 - 2005(?)

Bill Kurtis & Linda MacLennan - WBBM

Larry Mendte & Alycia Lane - KYW - 2003(?) - present

Laura Diaz & Paul Magers - KCBS - 2004 - present

Paul Moyer & Colleen Williams - KNBC - 1994(?) - present

Diana Williams & Sade Baderinwa - WABC - 2004 - present

And

Diann Burns & Antonio Mora ;) ;D ::) - WBBM SARCASM INTENDED

Antonio Mora was demoted. The axe doesn't fall on Diann.

Dana & Ernie were splitted on 2004 with the hiring of Roz Abrams.

Chuck and Sue are the most respected local news team in NYC after Bill Beutel

Bill Beutel and Diana Williams splitted on 2003, when Bill retired from WABC, Diana asked for a lighter workload and is anchor of Eyewitness News at 5PM. She anchored briefly with Bill Ritter.

Bill and Liz are a great anchor team. The most watched in NYC.

Dana & Jim were demoted to Noon/6PM newscasts as part of stupidity on WCBS-TV

Jim Gardner is a classic. Great anchor with an really big attracting power.

And the other ones are/were great too, but too much to write. Paul Moyer doesn't let Colleen talk.
