Sinclair's acquisition of Four Points Media Group has been closed. Sinclair now has KUTV, KMYU, KEYE, WTVX, WTCN-CA, WWHB-CA and WLWC in their arsenal.

It won't be long before "Sincrap" closes the deal on the stations from Freedom Communications. And once it does, now is the time to complain.

 

So which station group will be next to be bought by another station group? Only time will tell.

And on a related note, to get bought out of the LMA and such, Nexstar has scored $6.7 million dollars from Sincrap

 

As if Nexstar needed more money anyway...

At least two will become KDNL clones within a few years; a shell of tv station, but not really a tv station.

Interesting to see what will happen in Salt Lake City as KUTV has grabbed a decent share of the viewers away from KSL and leads some timeslots.

Last time I checked No they weren't. That agreement ended in 2009. However with the recent agreement for Sinclair (or Sincrap) to also buy out WPEC and Freedom Broadcasting, I would say all bets that the CW West Palm gets a newscast again.
