  1. Sad news coming out of Baltimore, it is with a very heavy heart to tell you that former WMAR/WJLA anchor/reporter Jack Bowden had passed away of leukemia Wednesday. Bowden spent 21 tears at WMAR before leaving the station in 1988 in a contract dispute. Bowden then worked at ABC station WJLA-TV Washington DC from 1991-98. Bowden leaves behind his beloved wife of 36 years (Former WMAR Anchor/Reporter) Susan White-Bowden, his son CJ, his two stepdaughters seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. TVNT would also like to offer our condolences to the Bowden family and to former colleagues at WMAR ABC 2 and WJLA ABC 7.

  3. Morris' WXXV is adding a Noon newscast on its NBC channel beginning Feb. 1, 2016. The station recently added a 6-7 a.m. newscast on the NBC channel and a 7-8 a.m. newscast on its FOX channel. PROMO:
