Fox nation shows are appearing on fox weather now. I had high hopes that they would be all weather all the time. That was wrong. What a joke.

There’s also this one from WBBM … one of the most ambitious talent opens you’ll ever see.

An AMAZING KIRO find! Susan Hutchison with blonde hair and a young Gary Justice on the oldest Seattle find I've ever made, the open to Eyewitness News from 2/4/1982! This has also been reuploaded - the final noon newscast from KIRO before they went to 'News out of the Box,' on February 4th, 1993. An epic failure it was. KNDO 11pm news from 5/13/2004 KXTV 11pm news (partial) from 11/2/1997 and last but not least...KAPP's 11:00 Report from 3/15/1988 with Linda Schlachter. This came from an Ampex tape, thus the distorted audio at times. The worst VHS tapes of all time, complete with their sticky-shed syndrome and thick bottom coating. I have some Ampex Betas that I haven't even gone through...I'm waiting to purchase a food dehydrator to bake them first! At estate sales, I skip most Ampex tapes nowadays as they are terrible on VCR heads.

Yeah was interesting to see Byron doing weather... my guess is that they'll have the current weather team rotate for weekend AMs until they hire someone new. Another thought is to just have Chris do weekends and Byron do all weekdays like Mike Woods but I don't see them going that route.

And in a long sign of the times, nothing in the FAQ about an audio simulcast on 87.7, which they fought and lost to keep in 2009 (I assume once SBG came in, they said 'stop it' and ended the efforts). One good thing about the phone age is that any TV station can technically be 'on the radio' if their stream audio is converted to Bluetooth/plugged directly into a head unit.

That was my favorite graphics package too. KGO had something similar by (I believe Hothaus) but instead of yellow, it was a white themed elements. KFMB used the same KGO package as well but only for its opening sequence (2005-2013) https://jonberrydesign.com/kabceyewitnessnews
