  1. I couldn’t find any previous topics for this, so I made one. The BBC has once again released its annual pay list. This is only for those getting pay from the BBC more than likely from the tv license fee. Gary Lineker still comes in on top with £1.35M ($1.74M). Everyone else is below £1M. BBC News main anchor Huw Edwards is still between £435,000 to £439,999 (roughly $563,000 to 569,000), which is way below what the big three network anchors make. 2. Exactly; they actually *did* push fake news on their stations, not to mention the mass closure of newsrooms. You’d have a better case against them holding licenses, yet they’re still here. I know Fox sucks and all, but there are plenty of grifters out there who will use a legit issue like disinformation to rake in cash and attention. They aren’t helping anyone or anything but their wallets.

  3. EGAD! I found this folder in an about-to-be tossed bankers box at the station.

  5. KPRC/Houston has added a third hour to its Saturday morning news: 6-7, 8-9 and now 9-10 as of this past weekend. Also, they will be replacing Dr. Phil at 3 p.m. with a 3 p.m. newscast this fall. These on-air additions — plus recently expanding their morning online stream from 7-8 a.m. to 7-9 a.m. — are all happening after they canceled their 4:30 a.m. newscast earlier this year over what they alleged at the time was a shortage of hiring and keeping producers.
