So, WGAL aired their Childrens Miracle Network telethon finale this evening. WGAL has been a great station for CMN. WGAL’s morning anchor Jere Gish was recently named best local TV personality for CMN.

WGAL didn’t use Studio A this year. Nope. They didn’t use WITF’s studio as they did years before, yes, they went there for it.

This year, sorry WGAL deserves a HOP. This year, not sure if it was a WGAL decision or Penn State Health’s decision but this year ... it was held in the Cafeteria ... by the tray return. Seriously?

Update on the abc27/Flora situation.

Looks like Nexstar is going all in for defending the way they do things. A few takeaways ... they say that they are looking at all aspects of the station ... anchor desk changes are coming ... and they are shelling in $3 million in improvements to the station.

You can do a lot with $3 million dollars. Stay tuned. Things are heating up at abc27.

So I was watching WFMZ online the other day ...

My question is, how many news helicopters does WFMZ have? I see them talking about QUADCOPTER ... I just can't imagine a station having 4 helicopters. During a traffic report, I did see them go live to 2 different helicopters.

Amazing, especially for pseudo-suburban Philadelphia.
