    This may be a bit morbid. But the fact that he is back on CBS, after all that has happened, probably means his health is not that great.

    One of the best local news themes ever produced! Great to see it being brought back! I wonder if anyone has asked Frank Gari for his reaction. He must be proud.

    It would have remained a story, no matter what ABC's decision was. If they still anchored together, every interaction would be scrutinized leading to many new tabloid stories.

    The updates sound really great! More melodic and brassy than the originals. It's clear that Chris has studied news music for years.

    Give the guy running News Music Central some credit! He's breathing new life into some great themes by Jerome Gilmer. I'm really liking this update to be honest.

    It seems that the CNBC audience just rejected Shep. Hard to see how this improves, even if you change the schedule.

    The reason that Move Closer works on WPVI and WNEP is because of nostalgia. Al Ham's music -- to his credit -- is distinctive, even for its time. But if a new station adopted it, it would be widely criticized by viewers. Al Ham's spiritual lyrics and cheesy melodies do not fit into today's culture.
