  1. KTVK, Phoenix; 10 p.m., 1990; no open but a 35th anniversary ID at the beginning:
  2. I assume this was one of the last stations to use the "Eleventh Hour" title.
  3. By the way, another version of the WBBM theme (I don't know which composer's) was used by Australia's Nine Network for its early morning news: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=um2pQCfFE3Q;t=43
  4. Two new clips of ATV in Hong Kong using the Dick Marx WBBM theme in the 1980s: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=8iTr8y4uTSA;m=3;s=24 Via Hazimworks at TVForum.uk
  5. Several KPNX teases and topical promos from early 1995:
  6. An American morning show with a French-language title? Only in Acadiana:
  7. WNEW (now WNYW), New York; late news, 1983: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=iWkJyosloHo;m=2;s=32
  8. CFCF, Montreal, Quebec, Canada; late 1990s:
  9. That's a wonderful find! Among with KTVK's chopper and live trucks seen in this 1985 promo... ...it's another indication that at least some elements of the station's "rainbow look" predate the NewsChannel 3 era. And to illustrate my point here's a clip of Good Evening Arizona from 2000 with the classic rainbow lower-thirds -- complete with a NewsChannel 3 tag, even tough that moniker had been almost completely phased out by late late 1990s. (It was brought back temporarily a few years later):
  10. From KTVK, a Good Evening Arizona segment, probably from the late 1990s (or even the early 2000s. Believe it or not, those lower-thirds, a modified version of the 1986 design, survived into the 21st century!):
  11. With the latest local news for Berlin, Germany, here's the launch newscast on Puls TV, 1996: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=bvt6ioFegK8;m=2;s=26 Same country, same year; here's RTL with the midday news, a blooper at the start, Novocom's graphics, and Gari's News Line: It's a year later, and RTL has moved on to Non-Stop's Power News:
  12. Something just occurred to me: SouthernMedia's NMSA has KTSP using the NewsCenter Theme after Best Endeavours but before it adopted the NewsCenter II Theme. If accurate, that period must have been very brief, since I don't remember seeing any clips of KTSP with the original NC Theme (but plenty of clips with NC II). Or do we have something from that era after all?
  13. WABC, New York; 6 p.m.... ...in 1979: (Does anyone know if WABC's newsroom set was temporary or was it intended as a permanent setup, at least initially?) ...and 1981: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=6fZ033WtS3Y;t=17
  14. WGN, Chicago; 10 p.m., 1980:
  15. If KTSP's part-newsroom set premiered when the NewsChannel 10 branding launched (as per Raymie's earlier post), the following 1982 clip, with what appears to be a temporary set, could very well be from the TV10 News era, right?
  16. And here's NBC Nightly News with coverage of the same crash: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=ksFhXFuRblg;m=1;s=10
  17. From 1974, a pre-NewsCenter 4 clip of WRC:
  18. WCBS, New York; 11 p.m., 1978: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=ZpPRSVDfy3k;m=4;s=49
  19. Interesting! KTVK did hire his erstwhile co-anchor, Mary Jo West, a short time later (1983?). I believe she stayed with the station until the beginning of the NewsChannel 3 era (1986).
  20. Bill Close was still still anchoring the 6 p.m. news during the second (third?) wave of the NewsCenter 10 era -- at least he was in early 1988:
  21. News 12 Long Island, 1986: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IY9JyPO9Ri0
  22. KPNX's 5 a.m. news, 2012:
  23. A tornado warning interrupts regularly scheduled programming on Chicago's WMAQ, 1977: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=9MxfSB974Fk;t=38
  24. Moving from one independent station to another, a couple of KTVK teases from 1996:
  25. KCOP, Los Angeles; election coverage, 1980: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=kfb7lbNZ7mg;m=2;s=43 KCOP; news update, 1983:
