  1. I don’t work in tv news at all. All you do is criticize NBC and that’s your right, but it just seems a little suspect. I see you went on a bit of a commenting spree there yesterday to disprove that by commenting in non-NBC threads. Seems like you’re the one that’s triggered.
  2. What is your deal? You only seem to be critical and it’s only of NBC properties. Are you a former disgruntled employee?
  3. Guess it was too much to ask Dana Tyler to fill in.
  4. Not doubting that everyone else’s ratings reports are “guesses”, but what makes yours any different? Sounds like a guess to me, unless you have proof to back it up.
  5. Yeti is what he used to hit his wife pretty badly. You quoted the article when you said “knock em’ cold”. Your “joke” is playing on the article and what happened. So you may be talking about Yeti, but your making light of the domestic abuse situation.
  6. I’m sorry DigitalProdJoey, but I just don’t see the humor in a man physically abusing his wife.
  7. Glad you think it’s okay to make jokes about a domestic violence incident.
  8. It's also hard to take seriously someone who is OBSESSED with WLS's personalities, even the old retired ones.
  9. Sounds like your fixated on Ron’s pants ... or perhaps what’s in his pants.
  10. I’m wearing pants. Also, I said google her name AND WBBM.
  11. You obviously didn’t try hard enough. Google her name and WBBM and it’s first thing that comes up: http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/on-the-move-41/199457 ns4801, he doesn’t believe you, otherwise he wouldn’t be asking for your source.
  12. Duh to you. So anytime you talk about Miami stations make sure you put a disclaimer saying your from Miami. Or anytime you talk about Gainesville stations don’t forget to put up a disclaimer that it’s the current market your living in. Or anytime you talk about Jacksonville stations put up a disclaimer saying that’s your secondary home market. Or hell, anytime you talk about any U.S. stations you should put a disclaimer your an American citizen. I could go on. An appropriate use of a “disclaimer” would be you work for that station. Duh.
  13. We already know you are. And why the need for this disclaimer in relation to the rest of the post? DISCLAIMER: I’m full American.
  14. Agree 100%. But how is this different than joking about a nuclear disaster in Hawaii or any other disaster like the Vegas shooting? It’s not, yet no one sounds a peep when a certain poster makes those jokes.
  15. Not sure where you saw this but not only did they not debut a 5pm Saturday newscast this past Saturday, but they have other programming the next two Saturdays.
  16. While I agree with her that the poster was wrong, she must've forgot her time at WCAU and why she was let go. She is not one to talk. If memory serves me correct, as I was a member of the forum she was allegedly posting at back in the day, she posted inappropriate comments including about another African-American reporter, on multiple occasions calling her the n word. http://www.phillyvoice.com/former-nbc10-anchor-goes-viral-calling-out-racist-email-air/
  17. Maybe he is embracing his inner self. Maybe we'll see a Bruce-Kaitlyn like transformation. Good-bye Matt, hello Matilda?
  18. Andrew, CBS is poor and giving up. Look at the Weekend News. Also, when a big story hits, ABC and NBC on location. Where is CBS? In their shared studio.
  19. Sad news indeed. But like I said before, why don't you stick to offering your own condolences. The rest of us can speak for ourselves and never elected you to speak on our behalf.
  20. You would prefer Golden Girls. By the way, just a reminder in case you forgot (I haven't after you unceremoniously had a hissy fit with me and flipped out), you don't like it when your former username is revealed so it might be a good idea not to mention it again.
  21. Myron, I used to enjoy reading your posts and I used to think you were logical and reasonable (except when you insisted NBC Boston was not going to happen). Eat News, I always enjoyed your humor, although there were quite a few times I thought you crossed the line with your humor (related to real life tragedies), and a lot of times when you were overdoing it that it wasn't funny anymore. I have a hard time telling when you're serious sometimes. That being said, this is the type of partisan bickering most people don't enjoy. Enough already, most of us don't want to here the back and forth. We can turn on the TV and listen to the Pelosis and the Trumps and the McConnells and Schumers of the world if we want to hear it. We don't need either of your far right or far left agendas here.
  22. Kate Snow Cynthia McFadden .... oh wait, your theory isn't 100% proof.
  23. I see there is an anchor/reporter job posted there since January. I wonder if they are hiring a weekend co-anchor for Denise or Rosemary. As for the weather position, it seems logical that Tammie would shift from 5pm & 11pm once Glenn retires to 4pm, 6pm, and 11pm. The new guy (yes it should be a male to balance out the weather team) should get 11am & 5pm. Bill Henley's gotta be getting up there in age too.
  24. Never said anywhere in my post that Pat Lawson-Muse was not anchoring the 4pm.
  25. Was watching WRC yesterday and noticed Chris Lawrence was anchoring at midday, but Leon Harris was anchoring at 4pm (which he has done on other days). I didn't think anything of it until I went to read their bios and saw that Leon Harris is listed as the anchor of News 4 at 4. Chris's bio lists him as an anchor and as reporting from the Live Desk. When did this happen, and how did nobody notice? Even Dave Hughes over at DCRTV hasn't commented. He also missed the fact that Barbara Harrison was missing from the midday show for weeks. She has transitioned to a special assignments reporter, but coincidentally co-anchored the midday news today for the first time since she went missing months ago (appears she is here today because it is Tom Kierein's last day - Pat Collins and Bob Ryan also made guest appearances, as well as Joe Krebs via the phone - did not know that Pat Lawson-Muse started on the midday show with Barbara and Tom).
