I'd like to see Brian move to 6pm. Seems like the appropriate time for a news show. Greta can move to 10pm. I think Chris Hayes should've been the one to go instead of Lawrence, but oh well.

Actually, I think Weeters has a life. I do not see him post often. So I believe he doesn't have much time to approve your posts. Whatever you did must've been pretty bad. Now if some other people who are on here 24/7 were moderators, than your posts would probably be approved on the spot. Even overnight, as TVNT has some regulars who man that shift as well! And I don't believe they are trying to censor one side. Otherwise they would also censor Fred Flintstone, oops I mean Dirty Harry.

Their existing progressive viewer base? The one that has them in third place? Big whoop. I for one like the direction MSNBC is headed in.

I don't see what the big deal is. Is this creating some kind of bias in their storytelling? I think not.
-
To me the bigger question is why does WJLA (and others) need three anchors in the morning? Two is sufficient.

Pretty sure the P.S. is ChiCubsFan's P.S. and not from Mike's tweet.

Is Natasha going somewhere?

With WLS switching to the AccuWeather branding (like some of the other ABC O&Os), I wonder if WMAQ will jump onto the FIRST ALERT branding for their weather (joining other NBC O&Os).

I don't mind Alicia Vitarelli in her feature anchor role, or even as a sub on the 4pm, but why must they have her sub at 5pm too? Sharrie and Monica were both off Thursday and Friday, couldn't they have had Sarah sub at 5pm instead of Alicia? I know Sarah's a great reporter and all and is usually out in the field during the evening, but it's not a big deal for 6 to take her out of the field for a day or two. Also, she's been "off" on Fridays at noon for three and a half years now. Surprised they don't have someone fill in for her or stop saying she's off altogether.

They should've added Dina to the 4pm and kept Lourdes on the 4am. I wonder if there's any chance they move Dina to the 4am shift. The line-up should be as such: "Evening Team": 5pm-6pm, 6pm-7pm, 9pm-10pm, 10pm-10:30pm -- 3.5 hours "Afternoon Team": 11am-1pm, 4pm-5pm -- 3 hours "Late Morning Team": 7am-10am -- 3 hours "Early Morning Team": 4am-7am -- 3 hours Never understood why Larry and Robin do 4 hours instead of 3 hours. Makes more sense for each team to do 3 hours. Also, under above scenario, Steve and Ben would split the male anchor duties for the "afternoon team".

FYI, that article nor any other one I read has anything about a time switch for KLH. It could be staying at 10am, with Megyn's show at 9am.

So Barbara's twitter description now lists her as a "Special Projects Anchor". Surprised nobody picked up on this. https://mobile.twitter.com/nbcbarbara?lang=en

Actually, if you want to get technical, there's three: WGN-AM 720 WGN-TV 9 WGN America (cable channel)

Missing for at least three weeks now is WRC's Barbara Harrison. Ironically, there's been no posts to her twitter account since around Christmas. Also, during the 11am hour when there's a link to "Watch News4 Midday" it now has a generic NBC4 photo instead of Barbara's picture. Might she be a goner, or just taking extended time off?
-
It seems for the time being, Glenn is handling the 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 11pm, while the other three are taking turns on the 11am. On another note, it seems that the 11am now has co-anchors, with both Vai and Tracy co-anchoring (or a fill-in if one is off). Perhaps this change was made with the dropping of the 4am half hour.

Yeah he does a great job over there. Although too bad he doesn't give the same credit to sources he takes from (unless it's TVSpy, TVNewsCheck, or FTVLive because apparently those are the only three that count).
-
Or just spend your time as it appears a bunch of other people apparently did ... hang out on TVNewsTalk.

I feel that him not being able to compete against NN is a rumor. I've read it nowhere else but here In this thread.

Looks like the Chen-bot is trying to stir up rumors. She was on WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE with Andy Cohen and she said she believed the report in PAGE SIX (apparently the most credible news source) that Barbara Walters was not happy with the turnover and that she would call in to the control room and that they would laugh off her suggestions. She also said THE VIEW should be cancelled. Jealous a bit? THE VIEW most recently outperformed THE TALK in the ratings in overall audience and all the major demographics (http://www.hollywoodtake.com/view-canceled-despite-cast-changes-and-julie-chens-scathing-comments-abc-talk-show-still-215341). Does she not realize almost every job she's had at CBS is because of her husband because she is otherwise a complete borefest who lacks personality (as do some of her cohosts like Sara)? Does she not realize that THE TALK was not an original concept, but a copycat of THE VIEW?
-
You do realize that up through the end of Season 9 of the View, they only had two host changes (for the same chair). The Talk has only been around for 7 years, and they've also had two host changes. Let's see how many host changes The Talk goes through by Season 20 if they make it that far. Regardless, both of these shows deserve to be on TV over the other trash I mentioned earlier.
-
The show still does extremely well. It's more entertaining than the boring chatfest over at THE TALK. You want to cancel a show? How about Springer, Maury, or Wilkos? There's no reason for that garbage to be on TV.

Article mentioned Norah O'Donnell. I also read elsewhere that Jeff Glor is a possibility, and would bring a younger image (just as David Muir did at ABC) to the program. I personally thought that Scott was always a bad fit for the program. As the article stated, he is too slow placed and always came across to me as boring as hell. I also felt that John Dickerson was not the best choice for Face the Nation either. CBS This Morning is one of few bright spots for the network and I feel they'd be dumb to mess with that team and the momentum they have going. I also like Jane Pauley on Sunday Morning, so that's another bright spot.

I assume they'll probably remind people at the bottom of the 6 o'clock hour about the switch for the next few weeks. Regular watchers will have no problem.

I know it's been mentioned before, but I think the perfect replacement at 6pm would be THE NEWS WITH BRIAN WILLIAMS.
